Sometimes in winter you need to hole up with a traditional cold weather drink. Well if you’re getting ready for a Nor’easter and running to the packie (liquor store for those of you outside of New England) why don’t you give Smuggler’s Notch Vodka a try.
This little distiller out of Jeffersonville, Vermont, just a stone’s throw from the Canadian border produces a number of spirits with the Vodka being my favorite. It’s smooth and light almost to the point of being tasteless, I say this in a good way vs the less filtered cheap vodka’s which won’t be named here. This makes it perfect for mixing in things like vodka tonics or party punches but be careful, the smoothness that makes it so good has a way of sneaking up on you if you are not careful.
Oh, while you’re out you should probably pick up some milk and bread, or not I’m not here to tell you how to live your life.
Cheers!
